Every single part of this story felt like an afterthought. We'd be following the MC through the story and she'd be like "oh yeah I forgot to tell you, THIS is also a thing here." "...and another thing!"

 I’m not going to lie. I’m really struggling with the FMC. Like the story is fine but I’m having a hard time rooting for her.
