this took everything we learned and built on in book 1 threw it out the window and said "eat shit" .... in the BEST possible way. the most important thing was the full 180 with grace; the overarching themes of autonomy, consent, self worth, and personal power. she is not a damsel in distress and never has been. its time the whole world realizes it. predictable, a bit unhinged, delightful.
fuck if i know where the plot went in this one. and im not sure the author knows where it went either. there were some great moments, some good plot twists. but jesus christ this one felt like a punishment having to read it
disturbing beyond belief. rage. horror. disgust. iterally fucking haunting but handled with such levity that only a person who is in therapy and recovery can manage.
