So much happened in this book! It's not my favorite in the series, but I do love a good time travel story. Though this one does get a bit confusing at times and I think I may be tired of Opal constantly being a villain. I mean, isn't there someone else out there?
But yes, a good, quick read that I pretty much breezed through and can't wait to read more about what happened to Artemis and his mom so that I'm heading to the library to snag it. In like, two hours.

I've read some of Holly Black's works and haven't liked them, but I love the anthology she put together here. The talent is awesome and I love the commentary for each of the stories. No matter if you're Team Unicorn or Team Zombie (I'm the former, but if this was a debate the other side would have to win cuz Justine argued better), you'll enjoy stories involving multiple parts the mythos for both sides.
This is a book I'd reread and gift to my friends.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the relationship between the two main characters. Not quite snarky, but just a hit that had me smiling and my roommate asking my several times. A wonderful world, interesting characters, and plot elements I hadn't seen coming. I can't wait to read the next one.
I normally don't like mystery books, but I breezed through this book in 2 days and then picked up another by Francis. I love his writing, with how his simple sentences have such a huge impact. And while the mystery wasn't very obvious, the villain was shown early, it was enjoyable reading about how to stop the crimes and how the whole series of events helped Ben to grow. His relationship with his father is wonderful, and Francis describes being on the edge of adulthood from the teenage perspective so well. An enjoyable read, and one I will probably re-read in the future.
Not much for romance, but I loved the historical elements of this.
