I read volumes 1-5 in two days because I love Miles Morales as Spider-man. The art is wonderful and I love how Miles tries to take up the mantle of Spider-man and do something right. This feels real and modern, and while Miles might be known as 'the black spider-man' I love how his ethnicity isn't just shown in his skin but in his family culture and situation. This cuts to the heart of family, how could that not move me?

Dang did I love this book. So much that when my library told me they couldn't renew my audiobook, and I wouldn't be able to finish it in time, I turned in the CDs and walked to my local to buy a copy. Because I knew this was a book I wanted to own.

And I'm super thrilled I bought a copy because the bonus material of the economy of Artemis? Straight up my alley.

I can't praise this book without falling into gibberish, but will just say I really, really enjoyed it.
