A perfectly serviceable intro Fangirl culture. Probably best for young girls who are just discovering Fangirl interests. I enjoyed the section on Feminism in Fan culture and think it's a great start for young fans who aren't entirely sure what feminism is or why it is needed. However I would have liked the whole book to be a more serious look at the culture. If what you want is to be educated on the Fangirl lifestyle as a newbie or as a person who loves fangirla and wants to know them better than I think this book is for you. If you are an established Fangirl then this book may be a let down.
