A great start to 2023. About a small town girl with no friends, who loves to write detective novels and a bigger town boy who is anxious, smarter than everyone, and an artist who meet one day, maybe fall in love, and accidentally wreak havoc by creating and sharing a nonsense poster that catches the attention of the world in mid ‘90s.
Told in first person, Frankie’s anxiety left me on the edge of my seat. I loved Wilson’s commentary are obsession and cult-like fandom-y culture, the good and the bad, the beautiful and the deadly.
