An inspiring and beautiful collection. The way it was formatted and paced really added to the beauty of the prose. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in reading great contemporary poetry. I will be seeking out more of Smith's writing in the future.

God damn. I loved every moment and cried almost the same amount. I need a moment and will have to come back to this in the future.

A solid 4.5. It was a beautiful cry of pain from the soul of one person while speaking to the hurt of a group. In some ways it held Joy by acknowledging the lack of loneliness in the pain. A thoughtful and full piece that demanded to be read in one sitting and that was crafted to easily pull the reader along from cover to cover. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it to anyone.
