i ended up liking this way more than i expected. great discussion/reflection of comp het, class divides, human dynamics. first quarter was unbearable, even though it was needed for exposition. i would recommend but not screaming from the rooftops about it but i would read more of her books. 

Okay I did really enjoy this still, but I was a little sad at how similar it felt to EITRWSBD in the first third/half of the book, but it definitely picked up after that and took on its own spirit. I think I would have rated this higher had this been my first book by Austin - I might have even enjoyed it more than EITRWSBD. Feeling really conflicted about this star rating, might come back to it.

like i like the island and it was fun but i forgot how many questions he leaves unanswered and it was frustrating!! i want more answers lemony!

This was good. The end of this series is so good. Can't wait to start the end.
