This is probably one of my favourite things I've ever read. And I don't like short stories, I like things to go on and on and I get frustrated reading collections of shorts because of then tone changes. But these were different than anything else I've read and I loved them. They made me think so much and experience so many emotions. I would recommend this to absolutely everyone.
Bunny is one of my favs and what got me into surrealist horror in the first place (it's a very light version of it but a great place to start). I love Mona Awad in general. This was my third time reading this book and im excited to talk about it with Caleb on his podcast next week.
This was a 5 star until close to the end when it got kinda boring so I lowered my rating it was still good though. Very cute.
Idk why the main character was Canadian tho cus the author isn't and it seemed like she didn't really know anything about Canada cus all the comments made about it were weird and didn't really make sense. Like we have Thanksgiving here lol and it doesn't snow constantly and moose hearts are not a common thing to eat in Toronto

Ok so this one guy Sean is like a 50 year old flat earther whacko in the body of a 20 something weirdo obsessed with hiking. His moral code is completely ridiculous which like, probably isn't his fault seeing as he was raised to believe them from a young age in a skid robinhood gang. His friend Dominic is like slightly better but that's mostly because we don't actually get to see as much of his personality since he's more closed off and ~mysterious~. The main character falls in love with both of them for some reason even tho they're super unlikeable and kinda abusive. But she's also stupid and oddly wishy-washy about her own personality. Turns out the big mystery is her rich Dad is bad (duh he's rich) and some other bad guys who aren't rich wanna hurt her because of it. I enjoyed reading it with my friend and making fun of it, and it was quick and easy to read. I wouldn't recommend it as an actual good book tho
