Just not clicking with it and finding my mind is wandering. 

It was fine. Star rated it against what it is. It was more romance than smut. There wasn't much to it but it's a novella, what do you expect? It wasn't bad. Just a bit nothing. But it was perfectly fine. 

I loved this - completely bingeable with characters with varying degrees of likeability.

This is the first book I've read by Jessica - I had the privilege of sharing a lodge with her at a reading retreat back in January and I've since purchased all her books and finally got round to reading this one. I had a particular interest as the first hiding place for a body was an idea I'd given her and I was VERY excited to see how she'd bring it to life, and she delivered!

This won't be my last book by Jessica. I'll be saving the ones on my TBR for those times when I need a slump breaker because these are perfect for that.
