Didn’t love this AS much as the first one but oooo ~only one bed~ trope and nemesis’ to lovers was fun! Plus amnesia trope! It was fun, really. It honestly had an interesting overarching plot and I was more curious how that was going to evolve and workout than the romance?

 I did like the romance but I have to say the spice level was cranked up in this one and it gave more of an *oh god…that’s a lot* reaction lmao.  It was definitely more than book 1 did but the plot made me keep going plus the dynamics were interesting enough to push through! 

Anyway 4*! Not as instantly loveable as the first one but good plot, world building and I enjoyed the tropes! 

Oh I loved this! The world building was fascinating, Mariel was a really interesting MC and you know I love grumpy sunshine! Throw in enemies to lovers, fake dating and forced proximity and I’m sold. This was fun, spicy, fast paced and had a really interesting concept and plot. This hit all my fav tropes and was just great! 

An easy 4.5! (It gets a 4.5 not a 5 purely because it took like 130 pages to do a whole 180 on enemies to lovers but I had a lot of fun with it! )

Ohhhh THIS! There’s just something about the unravelling of a mystery in a decaying mansion in the middle of nowhere…IM IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK! 

It gave me really big crimson peak vibes, trying to piece together the mystery of the house and the people inside it set against this backdrop of decay and despair?? LOVEEEEE! Effy was a fascinating MC and I truly loved living inside her head for this book, such an EASY 5*. 

The dark academia vibes, poetry and literature contrasted with the myths and legends just made it even more impeccable. Please read if this is on your tbr! 

I loved Gwyn in book 1 so this was great!! Rivals to lovers had me HOOKED. Good romance, an interesting main story and ooo misdirects and mystery! This was such a good chill read and I finished it in one sitting, equally as good as the ex hex so an easy 4*

God this was such a beautiful short story, I love the world this series is set in, I truly can’t get enough! 

I seriously can't get enough of this writing, this world, these characters! I'll read ANYTHING this author puts out! 

This was just okay tbh, I expected more, I WANTED more but it didn’t deliver! I just wish it was better paced and more in depth, I did enjoy the lore and the plot in general but idk it felt rushed and like it didn’t go as deep as I wanted it to!! Honestly overall really anticlimactic…I was hoping it’d build to something big but it was just eh and over with too fast . Giving it a 2.5 though because it was still enjoyable but in a middle of the scale way, i had fun but i wanted more! 

This gave BIG Practical Magic vibes!  It was super fun, super quick and super witchy! I just wish it was longer and less rushed…don’t get me wrong I had a lot of fun with the cosy Halloween town vibes and the curses etc but my god  I wish it was just 50 pages longer at least, just to fix a lil pacing because it felt like it all went SO fast !! Anyway it was fun and a good use of an afternoon so 4*! 

God I did not expect to breeze through this bloody quickly! I literally started it yesterday morning and I’m mad with myself that I just devoured the whole thing in just over 24hrs.

I have no words for this book, no words. Just like vampires, witches, fake dating, grumpy sunshine…it CALLED to me! Idk why I’m so invested in paranormal contemporary Romance atm but this was fun, it was spicy, it had a LOT of drama! Imma have to grab the second one sometime. Solid 4.5 though, there was a lot of tropes etc and it didn’t exactly offer much NEW to the vampire myths but I enjoyed it non the less
