THIS SERIES!!! THIS SERIES OH MY GOD!

I JUST FINISHED THIS, (IVE BEEN READING ALL DAY BECAUSE THESE BOOKS ARE SO DAMN HARD TO PUT DOWN AND DEMAND TO BE READ IN ONE DAY) ITS LIKE 3AM AND I F*CKING LOVED THIS SO MUCH I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY

Holy hell was this a hell of a ride, I am absolutely in love with this book. I think I liked it better than the first book as well (and that I absolutely would die for). The characters just feel so real and it feels like it all really happened. I love Hanna and Nik so much, they’re such amazing strong characters and the plot of this book was just incredible. HOW JR TIED TOGETHER?? I CANT WAIT TO DIVE INTO THE NEXT BOOK ONCE IVE PROCESSED THIS ONE, IM JUST DEAD.

God I feel like I hAve whiplash from the amount of twists and turns and all the suspense I just read. I’m so hyped right now too, just wow. I’ll never get over how amazingly effective this format is, I NEED MORE BOOKS WRITTEN AS DOSSIERS!!!!

I loved this! I almost cried at the ending it was just so cute and adorable! I don’t know what to say about this book except I really liked it, the ups and downs, how the plot went, the romance, all of it.

I’m so happy with how this ended it was such a good ending to the trilogy. This is the first contemporary romance series I’ve ever read and I am just in love! I really wanna read more YA contemporary now, it’s just so warm and lovely and such a good summer weather read !!

This was actually incredible I’m speechless, I just finished less than 5 minutes ago and I’m trying to collect myself...I’m just wow

I honestly knew from the first chapter of this book that it would be something I just adored and I was soooo right. I kept putting off reading it because I wanted to stay in the world as long as I could, if I didn’t stop myself I would have finished this entire book on the first day easily.

This is the first book I’ve read from Ahdieh and holy hell her writing style is absolutely glorious, so magical so descriptive I’m in awe. I loooooved the used of first and third person, between the main chapters and the almost monologued other chapters, it was such a unique way to get into the ~villain~’s head. Soooo well done!

Celine was such an amazing character, her strength, her passion, her fearlessness. She was so amazing, I loved her back story and how she fought all through the book I love her so much. And Bastien??? He’s so dreamy ugh!

I just wow I don’t even know what to say the story evolved so much and I’m just in love with every page...AND THAT PLOT TWIST ?? AND CLIFFHANGER EPILOGUE THOUGH ??? I AM DEAD

I HAVE BOOK 2 ON PREORDER AND I AM SO EXCITED FOR ITS RELEASE!!

I remember seeing this book at a book fair when I was maybe 12 years old and my mum not letting me buy it because there was a content warning on it...it’s kinda wild I’m only just reading it now 8 years later.

I really did enjoy this book, despite being a YA it was honestly quite a good horror/ghost story, I read most of it in the first day on the night, early hours, and some of it did spook me. It was really well written and the descriptions were really good!!

I wasn’t a fan of the romance at all which is what lost it a star but for a YA horror it was a really good read! I really liked the ghosts in it, especially Anna, the way they were written was just really well done and made the scenes really vivid.

I have the second one somewhere I might start that soon, hopefully it’s just as good

The moment I finished this I knew it was going on my favourite books list, of all time...I’m in love

I haven’t read a book that’s made me feel like this in a long time now! Every page I loved, every word, I’m just in awe...
This was easily one of the most unique retellings I’ve ever read and I just cannot get over how amazing it was. I adored every single character, the mc’s were amazing (special shout out to my boy Scary Grey I love u), Harper was such an incredible character and I really grew to love Rhen so bloody much. They all have such a special place in my heart now.

This is the first time I’ve read from this author but any fantasy she puts out...I’m there!! Her world building is just so magical and I can’t find any faults with this book at all, I loved every second. I had a point about 3/4 of the way in where I just didn’t want it to end because I was enjoying it sooooo much I just kept putting it off so I could make it last as long as possible!

I just don’t even know what to say, I finished the book about 3 minutes ago and I’m just reeling from that ending!!! I have the sequel on my shelf ready and raring to go...I honestly cannot wait!

Honestly? This was god awful. I kinda enjoyed the movie when it came out a few years back so when I saw this in a charity shop I bought it thinking I’d have a similar experience, a nice easy enjoyable read. I was wrong. There’s probably a reason it was given away...

It was basically 95% pride and prejudice and then 5% let’s throw in some zombies and martial arts. It was did not work at all for me. In theory it sounds like a cool concept but it just wasn’t executed very well, being a retelling I thought it it’d be more imaginative and stray a bit further from the original story but it was almost exactly the same (except some minor inconveniences of zombies being present.)

Seriously don’t waste you time. Watch the movie if you must

I am in l o v e!!! This entire series was just incredible!!

It took me a whole day to read the last 100 pages of this book because I really did not want it to end but now it’s over I’m just amazed!!!

I love both the sisters sooooo much and legend and Julian, just every character is amazing, their individual and overlapping stories were great AND THE PLOT DEVELOPMENT IN THIS BOOK OMFG

I JUST LOVE THE WAY THE STORY UNFOLDED AND IM SO SATISFIED WITH THE ENDING OF THE BOOK

I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY IM JUST OBSESSED

This was just n o t good. All the characters I loved in the original trilogy felt NOTHING like themselves...and the new characters were just annoying. Oh well at least it only took me a day to read, I won’t be reading the next book...

Honestly I’m not quite sure what I just read...although beautifully written and really whimsical...this was soooo hard to follow...

I found myself getting lost a lot of the time with what was going on and where the story was progressing bc it was so strange at times and just some things made no sense.

I will give the author credit for how beautiful the writing of the stories were in between the main plot, they were amazing and easily my favourite parts of the book. So fantastical and just so so pretty!!

Just because it was hard to follow and I’m not even sure I remember all of it it was a 2.5* (bumped to 3 bc goodreads) for me. I didn’t hate the book and I was able to make it all the way to the end, and I did really enjoy myself, but I just kept getting so lost...

DNF AGAIN!! - Got to 250 pages this time and I really cannot get into it, I did really like the first book, but the 2nd one isn’t doing it for me, I guess I’ll be moving this and the sequel out of my physical tbr. I most likely will not attempt again

I give up!! I can't do it! I don't know why I just can't read this book! I got 155 pages in and I just care about Lila, everything else is boring rn ughhhhh I'm so mad at myself
