This book!!! What an adventure omg. Christina Henry's books are always so magical and whimsical but so dark and I can't get enough of them, this was so good!!! Idk how she comes up with these ideas but she better never stop because I want a retelling of every fairytale from her asap!

I really loved the plot of this book! It had many elements I loved and historical fantasy is something I really love so this was perfect!! The romance however brought this down for me, I wasn’t really a fan of that element I would have enjoyed the book more overall without it.

I enjoyed the characters a lot and the Robin Hood and Mulan elements to the story were really good, it was really interesting and the plot kept me on my toes! Mariko was a great main character and I really did Ōkami’s character too he was great.

Overall I did really enjoy this book and I finished it in 1.5 days bc it was so easy to read!

This was okay, easy read. I did really like the first book but this second one was more average, it was still alright though!! I do like the characters in this series, they're fun and the ending was wrapped up quite well! If you're looking for something easy to read and get into, these are a good choice

Holy hell THIS SERIES!! I JUST FINISHED THIS BOOK AND WOW!!

THE PLOT TWISTS, THE SUSPENSE, THE ENDING!!

GOD JT WAS SO SATISFYING. I LOVED THE 2 NEW MAINS IN THIS ONE TOO AND JUST HOW EVERYTHING CAME TOGETHER IT WAS SO WELL EXECUTED AND JUST UHHHH I LOVED IT.

I REALLY WISH MORE BOOKS WERE FORMATTED LIKE THIS BECAUSE ITS HONESTLY SUCH A COMPELLING WAY TO TELL A STORY AND I JUST COULDN'T PUT ANY OF THEM DOWN ONCE I GOT GOING.

IDEK WHAT TO SAY EXCEPT I LOVE ALL THE CHARACTER SO MUCH AND I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME WITH THIS SERIES PLEASE READ JT IT'S AMAZING!!

I've had this book since it came out last year AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT HAD QUARANTINE CAMPS AND A PANDEMIC. What timing for me to pick it up to read now.

This was such a unique take on red riding hood I loved it so much. It was so intense and had me worried through the entire thing about if she was gonna make it to grandma's house or something horrid was going to happen first. Red was such a strong determined main character and I really enjoyed reading her story. I really love this though I do wish it went more into detail about some elements of the story instead of just ~it's classified~ (I HAVE QUESTIONS!!) and that there was a sequel to be honest. It did feel like it ended kind of open and I'd honestly love to read another book in this world so I can hope!!

I really need to go back and read Henry's Peter Pan retelling and the sequel to Alice BECAUSE I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS WOMAN'S WRITING AND IDEAS

There wasn't too much plot to this one to be quite honest, I still liked it but not as much as the last one, the ending was just depressinggggg

I don't own any further books so this is the end for me for now!

Actual Rating: 3.5 almost a 4.

Despite not much actually happening in this book (for the first 200 pages at least) the last 100 were just *chefs kiss*. These books have become almost a guilty pleasure series, they're just super easy to read, you don't have to think much, they're just solid.

I like the main storylines going on right now and the way they're going! I know this was more of a filler book than the other ones but some things happened at the end that in just like yep this was good. I only have the next book to read right now, I'm gonna have to work on buying the last few, I'm definitely reading to the end

I was really hyped for this book, being a collab and all, and had it on my radar since it was announced and now I've read it im just like eh yeah okay.

To be fair I don't have much to say about this, it was good, i didn't mind it but I wasn't in love with it. It was just a kinda cute fluff romance, not really much to it tbh. It was just kind of underwhelming, I feel like it (and the two main characters) had so much potential but it was just kind of wasted and the ending was just annoying. There wasn't really much substance and a lot of it was kinda cringe and ott, the dates were just...awkward idk. And just don't get me started on the pop culture references, omg i get it Hamilton exists, calm down please god.

Probs more of a 2.5 then a 3

THIS SERIES!!! THIS SERIES OH MY GOD!

I JUST FINISHED THIS, (IVE BEEN READING ALL DAY BECAUSE THESE BOOKS ARE SO DAMN HARD TO PUT DOWN AND DEMAND TO BE READ IN ONE DAY) ITS LIKE 3AM AND I F*CKING LOVED THIS SO MUCH I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY

Holy hell was this a hell of a ride, I am absolutely in love with this book. I think I liked it better than the first book as well (and that I absolutely would die for). The characters just feel so real and it feels like it all really happened. I love Hanna and Nik so much, they’re such amazing strong characters and the plot of this book was just incredible. HOW JR TIED TOGETHER?? I CANT WAIT TO DIVE INTO THE NEXT BOOK ONCE IVE PROCESSED THIS ONE, IM JUST DEAD.

God I feel like I hAve whiplash from the amount of twists and turns and all the suspense I just read. I’m so hyped right now too, just wow. I’ll never get over how amazingly effective this format is, I NEED MORE BOOKS WRITTEN AS DOSSIERS!!!!

I loved this! I almost cried at the ending it was just so cute and adorable! I don’t know what to say about this book except I really liked it, the ups and downs, how the plot went, the romance, all of it.

I’m so happy with how this ended it was such a good ending to the trilogy. This is the first contemporary romance series I’ve ever read and I am just in love! I really wanna read more YA contemporary now, it’s just so warm and lovely and such a good summer weather read !!
