LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS! I'm sure this won't be the last Rachel Harrison book I pick up! I think this is the second book I've read from her and they've both just been spectacular. I love a good witchy story and this was just perfect, the queer undertones had me living and the general female empowerment vibes from this author is always immaculate. I really enjoyed this one a lot, just wish it was longer to be honest, i was loving the dynamics and the lore so much I was sad for it to end! 

This was a really interesting addition to the series! I did accidentally read these out of order, reading book 5 before book 4 but I really enjoyed this one a lot! The plot was intense but easy to follow and it wasn't what I was expecting for this retelling so I LOVED being surprised by this take!  Highly recommend these books as a first dip into dark romance! 

Not one of my favourites but definitely still really good! Very dark, very fucked up for sure, not my favourite couple outa the series but an easy 3*. I''d say this is one to read the trigger warnings for though! 

Yeah I just don’t think this is for me. I love queer romance but this just wasn’t fleshed out and was kinda all over the place! 

There was elements I loved and a lot of really cool and interesting supernatural and horror elements but I definitely just wanted more from it!! Gonna give it a middle ground 2!

I have to say this is a perfect book to read in December, chrsitmassy, veryyyyy seasonally appropriate and just very cosy! I gave this a 3.5 rather than a 4 because I didn't enjoy it as much as the first 2 books but it was delightful so it's a good 3.5! Definitely recommend this if it's on your tbr for winter! I'm honestly sad that this series is over...

Ooooo loved this one! An easy 4* here. I love how these fairytales are spun into something so unique and insane! This is seriously the wildest take on Wizard of Oz I've ever read and I loved it. It was great seeing a villain FMC and I enjoyed the references and drama in this one a lot.

Very much enjoying how fast these are to read! Didn't like this one AS much as book 1 but it was def entertaining nontheless. Being a royal romance in a fantasy feeling world this was different and interesting. The characters were complex and wild and the plotline was fun! Easy 3.5!
