dark funny fast-paced

This was so much fun and absolutely hilarious
slow-paced

This is a nice slow burn with great fleshed out characters. I really enjoyed PD Alleva's writing style

If you love devil/occult horror you'll love this!

I absolutely loved this story! I've never heard of the type of hide and seek game as described in the story but kids games are always evolving. This has some delightfully creepy scenes in it. I'll be looking for more from Daka Hermon in the future for sure

I had a lot of mixed feelings about this one. It's so heavily steeped in racism and fatphobia that even though I did enjoy the overall story idea tit was just hard to read. This one definitely didn't stand the test of time

The Quiet Ones was such a great read! I tore through it because I just couldn’t put it down.

I liked it. I like Sager's writing so it was so easy to jump in an devour this one.

This is the first book I've read by Josh Winning and I really loved it! His writing is so easy to pull you in and let you just enjoy the story. Burn the Negative was a great story. I found it fascinating to combine so many of my favorite aspects of horror films and the genre. While the book is more of a slasher (which is my second favorite sub genre) the movie the main character was in is a haunting which is my absolute favorite. I enjoyed how Winning merged the two subgenres together. I'm definitely looking forward into getting into Shadow Glass next

I am in absolute love with Amari and her story! This has everything, adventure, magic, great sibling relationships and EMOTION.

I was a big HP fan way back when but I had said my goodbyes to that for reasons. I have the same magical feels from Amari and the Night Brothers that I originally had with HP and I cannot wait to start the next book.
