I love this book so much! I have read it 3-4 times now and it's been a great ride every time.

This was an alright story. Wasn't bad but didn't wow me. I liked the mystery in it but the personal relationship things kind of lost me. I just could not care enough to get invested in Stonechild's dilemmas.

I really enjoyed this read! I haven't actually read the ones that came before this one but I didn't feel lost on anything. This was fun, quick and enjoyable, everything I love in a cozy! I will definitely be going back and reading the first four now.

This is based off the web series of the same name, a web series about vampires, mystery, university life, and lesbian romance. Finally getting her freedom from small town life, Laura starts her first year at Silas University. Then her roommate goes missing and a new student moves in, Carmilla. It's up to Laura to find out why so many girls have gone missing on campus. This story is modern and entertaining, I could not put it down and finished in one day. but the characters could have been filled out a bit more for me. I think for me knowing it is based on a web series I expected more information to be filled in. *I have not watched the web series.

I enjoyed how dark the story got, it really made you stop and think. I couldn't put this book down and just flew through it. It really makes you reflect on your past and choices you've made in your past as well.
If you enjoyed Dark Matter you are going to LOVE Recursion! I'm pretty sure I am now a Blake Crouch fangirl for life and cannot wait to back read his other works and anticipate his future.

I did not really care for this book. It's a slow burn for me and it was really hard for me to get into it. I know there are a lot out there that love that style of book and I would recommend it if you do!
