Re-reading the series that brought Neil Gaiman to my attention.
I first read these as a pre-teen and they are as fascinating as I recall.
Onto vol 3 I go!

Ruddy hell, this story was compelling. The characters rubbed me up the wrong way at times, but something about them all made me want to keep going and finish their story and I was not expecting the end. Which rarely happens to me.
I teared up. I was shook. I will be thinking about this for days
Agh. Now I got to try and sleep.

Well that had me all over the place emotionally. Got 2nd book to start soon so you can call me hooked.
