Slow beginning, and it was hard to not get annoyed at the main character for her falling so easy for Zac, but she is only 15 (for most of the book) so you have to take that into account. Book does pick up and I ended up binging a lot of it in one sitting to the point where I was too tired to read anymore, and then couldn't sleep because I wanted to finish it.

Honestly, the story was good but the characters should've been 16-17 for the whole "baking internship" and minor love story part. 12-13 years old was too young for that stuff to be believable.

Very informative about managing your glucose levels, diabetic or not (especially not). I can't wait to see the results of putting these eating habit hacks into action in my life and (hopefully) reversing my glucose levels.
