HOLY SHIT. This is wild. So good. Will be revisiting. 

This is not what I expected. 

This was a fun and easy read. Nothing really spectacular or new about it. It felt drawn out in the start and then rushed at the end. Expected this to be more of a romance book but it was more of a friendship book. Not bad, but also not what I expected. 

Wow this was so different from the movie. I loved this so much. The ending absolutely destroyed me. What a good book.

Wow this was so good. 
The buildup to the haunting and then the events of the haunting were absolutely wild. 
Hendrix has a way of describing horror that makes me so creeped out. I love it.

The idea of this is great, but I feel like the execution and overall story is a bit convoluted. The letters from each character are the clear strength of this book. I truly felt moved by some of them, but apart from the letters, I felt the story was confusing and overtly complicated for the sake of being “artsy”. I didn’t hate this, but I don’t see myself picking this back up anytime soon. I would reread the letters, but the book as a whole? Probably not. 

Okay so like on one hand I loved this, but then on the other hand…I feel like the ending was a cop out. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the book and the love story, but you mean to tell me after thinking your boyfriend is dead for a full year, you are down to get back with him after like 2 months??? I believe it but also don’t?!? I’m conflicted. 
I did not see the twist coming. I will say that. 
Overall, I loved this. Made me cry, laugh and I was shocked too.

Omg the main character is fucking insane??? Like….i was getting whiplash towards the end. Wild ass story. 

This was a cute concept but lacked in execution. 
I think it was unnecessarily long in parts and also underwhelming at others.
I wanted this to be good, but it didn’t live up to the hype.
