This is the second book that I have read with my anti racist book club. This book CHALLENGED me in the best way. I’m not 100% sure that I align with everything that was said in this book, but that’s not the point. The point of this book, in my opinion, is for readers to recognize the ways we think about race and racism and to think about them in a way that is tied to policy, because policy is we’re real change or detriment is made. I’m so grateful to have read this book and I know it will continue to challenge me as I move forward.

This was super cute! I liked it a lot :) I didn't think that I was going to like it as much as I did, but I was pleasantly surprised!

This was okay. I'm not sure if I'd want to do this for a read-aloud, but I could definitely see some of my kiddos loving this.
