I wanted to read this because I really wanted to know the background to the musical. I'm really interested in listening to the soundtrack now that I know the back story. The book was interesting. I feel like I was missing something. It was interesting though :)
3.75 out of 5 stars.

The first chapter of this book captivated me. I was kind of dreading picking this book up because the last book in the series wasn’t my favorite. But, after reading the first chapter of this book, my faith was restored.
However, as I continued reading, my feelings about the book kind of went downhill. I felt like I was reading a soap opera. Everything was extremely overdone. Every chapter (and with Tahereh Mafi, chapters are usually short) had to end really dramatically. I understand what Tahereh was really trying to do with making everything dramatic however, it didn’t really work with me.
Towards the middle of this book, I wanted to give up. I was reading to be done with it. Then (!) in the middle of the book (!) Juliette became a badass. I have ALWAYS been annoyed by Juliette in each book in this series besides the second half of this book. My love for Juliette grew in tandem with my hate for Adam. (He was a butt cake in this book.) I started liking this book when I started liking the main character.
I need to talk about the ending of this book. I don’t think have liked the ending of a series this much in a really long time, It did have it’s problems. For example, it went way to quickly in compare to everything else in the book. But I loved it.
This book was not perfect, but it was a great way to end the series.

3.5/5 stars. Short, sweet, and painful. I really enjoyed this book. The art was perfect for the story and everything fit into place wonderfully.
The only good things I can say about this book is that the writing was unique. Other than that, I have nothing good to say. The whole book was foreshadowing for something that didn't live up to expectations.
I'm really just not in the mood for this particular story at the moment.
Twilight was an absolutely wonderful book. I love the ways that Bella would describe Edward as he was something she couldn't live without - when essentially, she couldn't. The book had me on edge the entire time I read it. I would defiantly recommend it to someone. Good job Stephanie.
Reread (6-18-13): I still don't hate it. Sorry. Haha.

I think New Moon is my favorite book out of all of the series. I cried my eyes out at certain parts and at others I was cheering until I lost my mental voice. The description in this book is AMAZING. I love love love loved it. All together an amazing book.

This book has a lot more action then the others. This is the book out of all of the series that a boy would read. (If a boy would ever care to read the twilight series -there are some out there...) I really liked this one. I can't lie, I was routing for Edward. (I'm always routing for Edward.) The book is surprising and warming. I love the talks between Caleb and Edward. Amazing :)

In my opinion, Breaking Dawn was the perfect ending to the Twilight Saga. It was a little slow when it got to Jacob's book - who am I kidding, I almost fell asleep like a million times - but in the end it was all good. Like a said, perfect ending.
