When my mom was younger, she only read harlequin romances because that was all that was accessible to her at the time. So, when we were in Walmart the other day and she saw a whole wall of harlequin's she got nostalgic. I've been wanting to try reading one of the novels that my mom loved so much, so I tried this one. It wasn't the best thing I've ever read. It took way too long to get to the romance and there was a lot of business stuff that I didn't understand. It was intriguing though.

Not my favorite read, but it was still really good. The writing in this book was very enjoyable. I'm excited to see what else is in store for Patricia McCormick's books.

I haven't had the best relationship with Sarah Dessen books. I thought that this relationship would change a little bit, but I'm sad to say that it didn't. I've realized that Sarah Dessen has a very distanced way of writing and I really don't connect with that very well. It's frustrating because I really want to like her books a lot, but that hasn't happened for me yet.

3.5/5 stars. This book was very different than I thought it would be. I did enjoy it though. I had a hard time connecting with the grief that the characters were feeling because Grace had died before the start of the book. However, towards the end, I started feeling it. Really enjoyable.

2014 Booktube-A-Thon Book #1

This book was REALLY good. I have never read a book that dealt with HIV/AIDS before and it was really interesting. I learned so much. I also really enjoyed that the characters were drama kids. I'm a drama kid and I understood every reference they made. It made me so happy. This whole book made me so happy.

I feel really bad for giving this book such a low rating because I really wanted to like it and I know how hard it must have been for Lois Lowry to write this book. For me, the thing that really threw me off with this book is the title. I feel like the title gives away exactly what is going to happen. It is the ultimate spoiler. It was really hard for me to connect when I knew exactly what was going to happen.

I did not enjoy this book. I realized, after I finished reading it, that this was one of the books I was supposed to remove from my list when I went through it a few months ago...whoops.

I think I knew that I wasn't going to enjoy this after the first couple of pages, but I'm reading this for a challenge. So, I finished it...

3.5/5 stars. Hmmm. I finished the majority of this book in one sitting. I could not put it down. The writing style was simple but confusing at times as well. I feel like the story was a little under developed.
