I read this for the Booktube prize.

This was a very different book than what I would usually read. Interesting for sure.

This one was good, but not my thing. I think I will have students in my class who are all over this though!

I read this for my book study group for one of my grad school courses. My perspective may change once I talk to my partners about it.

What an absolute trip this book was! I picked it up because one of the essays I was reading for graduate school mentioned it and I just HAD to read it after its description. I absolutely loved it. I had so much to think about while reading. I'm now on an Octavia Butler spree! I want to read absolutely everything that she's written.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If I was in a high school setting, this definitely would be in my classroom. It addresses some really pivotal things in our society without watering them down. Super important book.
