This was fantastic. It was so satisfying to read everything Arthur Conan Doyle ever wrote about Sherlock Holmes in chronological order. Stephen Fry is an amazing narrator and he made the experience so much better that it would be if I just read. I loved how he wrote foreword to every book, which had a lot of information I didn't know about history and process of Sherlock becoming one of the most famous characters.

It was ok. Really really cozy, cute and predictable, perhaps too much. Nobody has a personality, there's no real conflict and it so weirdly written I have a feeling nothing actually happened. The narrator had thick accent, english being my second language, there were times I didn't understand whole sentences. Also, a lot of editing mistakes. I'll probably continue this series when I need to rest my brain.

I don't usually read a lot of short stories, but this collection made me think maybe I should. Loved shocking twists and surprising endings, as well as darkness of the human psyche. Cat person killed me because I've had THE SAME experience in the college. But didn't we all?

It's interesting I liked it more than the first one, more things happened. Still, it looks like a first draft, a lot of continuity errors. Characters and their behaviour still don't make sense, and I just couldn't root for Andy, she's too annoying and self-righteous. Nonetheless, I've found it kind of cute she ended up with Alex again.

I don't know, it started like some cheap action movie and I just didn't have patience for that. Everything was so over the top. Tried to continue a few times, but it felt like a chore.

Hilarious. Austen's longer novels don't show her witty side as clearly as in this shorter prose, where it's simply impossible not to notice. I'm glad I got an insight into her beginnings, and it's so interesting to read exercises of such a great author.

If I was rating this book in only chick-lit category, it would be 5 stars for sure. In this delightful read, the author crafts a tale that goes beyond its simple and humorous surface to reveal a much deeper narrative. From start to finish, the story captivates with its hilarious moments and feel-good vibes. What truly stands out is the vulnerability of the characters, as they evolve from one-dimensional figures into fully fleshed-out individuals with their own set of challenges and fears, all through the protagonist's eyes.

This book is perfect for a fun afternoon escape, offering a blend of humor, heart, and relatable characters. After enjoying this read, I'm eager to explore more stories by this author.

Can't help myself thinking "that's it?" after this one. It was so short and uneventful, way too expensive for the content I got.
