This one was hilarous. Predictable and great to let your mind rest. Although, some continuity errors snapped me out of the story a few times. Also, I have a feeling there could be better research of early 19th century including more subtle write in of facts into the story. Some were like reading a Wikipedia article. All in all, nice quick read.

Amazing page turner, loved every second of it. This is my first book by Ruth Ware and I can't wait to read another one.

It was OK, I guess. Had a little trouble finishing this. I think I'm just not a fan of dialogue format. It feels like I'm listening to a private conversation, which is weird and cringey. Parts with interviews, when there were other people, were OK. Characters are also OK, kinda funny, and narrators did a great job.

Really feel-good historic spicy romance. Pretty funny, I liked it better that first book in series. Pamela and Connor were just perfect for each other. Nice happy ending for everybody.

Loved it. It has a completely different vibe from The Shining, but it's great for what it is. I've found fragmented chapters really interesting, and liked how it covered many years in Dan's life. Feel-good happy ending actually surprised me, but I liked that too.

It's surprising how much I liked this one. Started to listen to it before bed and just couldn't anymore, it scared me too much! Story is careful alternation between big picture apocalyptic gore scenes and individual stories of characters, which I've found appealing. Kind of sad Tina and Christopher didn't end up together. Narrator was amazing!

Gotta say, I was pretty dissapointed with this one. I remember it was a huge hit 15 years ago so it has been on my tbr list for a long time. A lot of telling, infodumping, characters making no sense. Why would Andrea work for so long in terrible conditions (almost humanly immpossible) just to get a CHANCE to do what she wants later? Why she has no self-asteem, why was she so easily brainwashed?! She wasn't poor, she had nice upringing and supportive family and a great boyfriend. I just don't get her motivation - are newyorkers really that job-crazy? Everything seems unrealistic, it was bad even for brainless fun. Nothing happened almost the whole book. Like the author wrote it just to say FUCK YOU to some rich person that frustrated her. Interested to see how did the sequel go because I like to be annoyed, apparently.

This is my second reverse harem series by Eva Chase and it definitely became my favorite guilty pleasure among books. This one was a little bit slower, but less predictable than first series (Dragon shifter). Narrators were just my cup of tea.

Interesting modern twist on Agatha Christie's locked room whodunnit mysteries. Quick read, quite a page-turner. A little predictable and a lot of nothing after mystery was solved, but a good read nontheless.

I loved frequent changes of POV and time jumps. It made the story entertaining, every chapter was different so I've read it almost in one sitting. Not gonna lie, there were some cringey scenes and awkward sentences, but all in all, I like author's style. Plan to read her other novels as well.
