It was fun, but not quite as delightful as From the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

It was a very interesting idea, and Zimmer Bradley does an excellent job of synthesising many of the different Arthurian legends and seeming contradictions into a cohesive unit. However, in terms of writing style and individual characters, I found the book wanting.
