Nope. Miller ain’t for me apparently. Have yet to be impressed by anything I’ve read of his.

I DNF’d it at 37%. I just can’t get into it and found it incredibly meandering and boring. Not super into the genre though, so probably just wrong mood, wrong time, type situation.

Hah. This book has a bit of a trick up it’s sleeve and I like tricks. It is not complex but simple and elegant, too. The story seemed very straight forward until the turn. But was still interesting enough, though I had hoped for something more flowery of the many sights he saw, especially when it’s revealed he draws things.

Sad, sweet, earnest.

Great art; wildly male gaze, tone deaf, bad dialogue story. Any time a woman is wearing an outfit where lines are around her private parts though, I suppose it’s a shout out.
