Dark, disturbing and yet strangely addictive. Not your typical psych thriller (I personally don't think it should be labelled as one but then I can't say what alternative sub-genre would be - but that's okay!) and not one to read close to beginning motherhood but I truly believe there's a lot mothers will relate to.
Super fun, easy read. Great depiction of autism, and had me asking questions about my own possible neurodivergence. Wish SWers had been portrayed in a slightly different, more positive light but appreciate it wasn't all negative.
Great to get to know more about Molly and Silas after being introduced to them in the Markham Hall series. And I applaud the author's portrayal of SA survivor in a way that presents her as fully formed having already reclaimed her sexuality and sensuality, but still struggling and wrestling with her past and the violence she experienced.
