Sweet story, stunning illustrations.

A worthy sequel to The Storm Whale.

We have the Dutch version so I have to translate as I read but lucky for me the story is so sweet and simple that's easy to do! Definitely a favourite for all of us...

Another one my boy insists I read again and again and again.

Some friends bought this book for our son (aged 2.5) and he absolutely loves it. Had no idea the original was French but think translation is pretty flawless and now all he wants to say is "po bum".

I bloody love Lucy Cousins' books for my son. I always feel like she had a really good time making them.
