Homeland begins The Dark Elf series (chronologically, that is). I have not enjoyed a fantasy novel this much in quite some time. I don't recommend books as much as I should, but if you enjoy elves, fighting and wizardry, betrayal, in-house feuds, and societies where women dominate the inferior males with snake-headed whips, check this book out!

This is the first book I have read by Agatha Christie - and I can't believe I have never read anything by her before! I found this at a local library book sale and bought it to be an fun, autumnal read in preparation for Halloween. It was a great story and I definitely never saw the ending coming! Can't wait to read more by her.

The final installment of the series really brought it all together. A great series that I encourage everyone to read who likes mythology, YA fiction, Harry Potter, etc.
