The Alchemist is one of those books that I wish I had read as part of a class or a group because it has a lot of really great discussion topics and themes. It is also a book I wish I read years ago! Every now and then it's nice to take a break from all the "candy" we read and open a book that has deep meaning and helps remind you of purpose, gratitude, respect, etc. I would encourage anyone to read this book!

The Audible narrator was so bad. This was my 2nd attempt to listen to this book. He makes me prefer the movie over the book - and maybe that's ok! I will read the 3rd and final book of this series (borrowing from a friend). And then I will decide the best medium for this story: print, audio, or visual.
