I really enjoyed The Martian. The main character had such a witty, sarcastic, and dark sense of humor that it made this book all the more enjoyable. I laughed out loud often at some of the stunts he would pull and how he would respond to people at NASA. A unique book unlike a lot I have read that I recommend to all!
Where do I even start with this?
I connected to this book on so many levels it's ridiculous. It's crazy to feel like someone who I first saw on Buffy (aka the greatest show of all time in the world of all universes) years ago and then to Dr. Horrible and The Guild... to someone my friend fangirled over at a club after Dragon Con LIKED my tweet to her after saying how great I thought her book was. I feel like we're besties now - but that's besides the point.
She tells great anecdotes, delivers great messages, and is just an overall great entertainer. I have a greater appreciation for Felicia Day now, other than just thinking "she's that really cool redhead that appears in so many sci-fi/fantasy things I love and is really awesome when she's there."
Great book that has made me want to read/listen to more biographies/memoirs! Thank you, Felicia Day!

I have seen this book for years now and never purchased it - despite the fact I love all of Tina Fey's work and sketches on SNL, 30 Rock, and Mean Girls. I never saw myself as being interested in these types of comedy bio/memoir books. After liking TWO in a row now (this one and Felicia Day's), I can call myself converted.
Tina Fey tells hilarious stories in her book and I love that it was narrated by her. The way she tells some of her jokes and inserts her under-her-breathisms makes me die laughing out loud every time.
I choked on my drink at one point because a funny part of the story caught me off guard. I recommend this to anyone who likes anything related to Tina Fey because you will not be disappointed. If you are not familiar with her work, there's only one way to find out!!

Ellen always makes me laugh - and it's great to laugh :) I like how she's about 99.9% clean, guilt-free humor, too!
