Okay, guys, drop everything you are currently reading and start this series right away! This book are so thrilling and all I wanted to do, was stay up all night in order to finish it! ❇
Despite it being the second novel in a trilogy, it doesn't drag or disappoint the reader at all. I really admire authors that can do that, since most of the time, when dealing with series, the second installment tends to be a little bit dull and feeling like a filler between the first and last book. "Scorch Trials" totally surprised me as it not only kept the pace quite fast, it also managed to thicken the plot more and make me all the more anxious as I was nearing the end of the book! ❇
I have one protest though. Thomas has so many good atributes, but for the life of him, he can't figure out his love life! Despite him being a girl magnet, as Brenda latched on to him almost immediately, he seems to be very easily manipulated regarding that aspect. One day he was devoted to Teresa and the next day he started being obsessed with Brenda! I do understand that what Teresa did to him was unthinkable, but she was told that he would be killed otherwise! When one the other hand, Brenda totally tricked him from the beginning. How can he erase all those years he spent with Teresa, as he knew her since they were children, because of one simple action? ❇
All in all, I really loved this book and can't wait to finish the series!

This is the second book in the "Matched" series and I really loved it! I was very anxious to read it, because the ending of "Matched" left me hanging, I was like, and now what?? Thankfully, some of my questions were answered in this book, but as the story progressed, I was more and more intrigued to see how it is going to end! I guess I'll find out when I pick up the final book!❇
Cassia and Ky's story developed and from the first chapters, I was itching for a possible reunion, I simply love them together! I liked the fact that their relationship evolved and that there were arguments between them, as it would seem entirely fake if they were this picture perfect couple! What buggs me though is that I cannot see how they can be together in the end, because they have some fundamental differences regarding their beliefs and they seriously need to talk them through! I'm not losing my hope, as I'm sure the author has something up her sleeve for them in the next book! ❇
Another aspect that really caught my attention was the fact that Cassia is a girl willing to fight and work hard for everyone she loves and for everything she believes in! She went into extreme measures in order to find Ky and that's a trait that I believe is very important if you want to shape a strong-willed and interesting female character, as I don't find damsels in distress appealing at all!❇
All in all, it's a good book, that serves as a nice bridge between the first and last books of yhe trilogy. Most of the times, second books tend to be a bit boring and even though this was not as action packed as I would have liked, I was not disappointed at all!

Ink was probably the most recent book in my TBR list and I found it on a bookshop purely by chance and I just had to get it! I was in London the last week of November and my and friends went into a bookstore and it was the first book I laid eyes on, so it would really be a shame not to get it! ❇
I found the synopsis extremely intresting, as it stated that everything you do is forever engraved in your body as a tattoo. That thought seemed to me very unnerving, because every accomplishment, every secret would be openly shown for the whole world to see! In my opinion, I prefer when people are not that easy to read, meaning that you have to unlock them by getting to know them better! Anyway, that's not the case with Saintstone, Leora's hometown in the book. Also, how incredibly pretty is the name Leora?? I was awestruck when I first read it and it easily became one of my favourite names! ❇
Leora, who is the main protagonist in the book, is a very interesting young girl and I believe this whole book is her coming of age story, as she deals with the loss of a parent and an identity crisis shortly after. I would want her to be a little bit more strong-willed, but her ups and downs are understandable considering she is now venturing to adulthood. ❇
Ending, when I finish this book I felt it had more potential that was undiscovered, so I went to Book Depository (link in bio) to see what others had rated it and there I found out that it's a trilogy! I'm definitely going to buy the next book when it comes out, as I want to follow Leora and her rebellious friends!

I discovered this series when I was 17 years old and since then, I've been a huge fan! I remember that I was reading the books with excitement, so I thought that after 4 years it's time to reread them, as I cannot recall everything that happened in the story easily. ❇
The book is very fast paced but also very well organised, meaning that you don't feel rushed while reading, the author masterfully keeps the suspence up at all times! He has managed to create so many questions and as the plot unravels, you get the answers you want, but on the same time, you start wondering what might happen next! ❇
My favourite characters have to be Thomas and Newt, I think they really took matters in their own hands and went out of their way to help everyone in the Glade survive in the Maze, especially Thomas. The one I really really despised a lot was Gally, from the start he seemed like such a vicious man and with eveything that happened in the end, my first impression of him was more than justified. ❇
All in all, I really enjoyed reading this novel, it doesn't allow the reader a moment to rest anf generally I believe it's one of the best dystopian books I've read!

I started reading this book, without knowing that it is based on real events concerning the author's life. The realisation hit me a few pages in and then, my perception of the book totally changed. I cannot imagine how it is to have a person you love so much withering away in front of your eyes... It requires so much strength and will power to witness it and I truly felt for Yoli and was inspired by her courage, while Elf was slowly drifting away. ❇
The book was very interesting, because it didn't exactly have dialogues, it was like the whole thing was narrated by Yoli. There were many quotes that really stuck to me while reading and for the first time, I felt the urge to underline a few lines on a page! ❇
We follow Yoli and Elf through many stages of their lives, all seen through Yoli's eyes. This book really made me think, because a person that is seemingly successful and has everything they will ever want in life, might not actually be happy. When on the other hand, a person who is still struggling through life and hasn't everything figured out yet, might be more at peace with himself/herself deep down. ❇
Closing, this is a sad book, but it is also a very raw book that will have you weeping with a big smile on your face. Will definitely read it again, as it made me speculate a lot about what life really is and how can we find our path in it, while staying true to ourselves.

I loved this book so so much! At first I was a bit apprehensive, because there are a total of 6 books in the series and I'm barely finishing trilogies before another book catches my interest, but I thought I'd give it a try! I was not disappointed at all, the sorry really drew me in and now I'm itching to buy the second book!❇
I am always in for books that take place on a different time period and this one took me through Scotland both on 1940s and on 1740s. It was a very easy read, meaning that I had difficulty putting it down, since the story flowed so nicely and you are almost never bored! ❇
Claire and Jamie's chemistry was our of this world and I loved reading about how their lives changed and how their relationship evolved! Same years ago I had watched the first season of the show "Outlander" and I remember thinking how interesting it was and now that I've read the first book I think I'm going to go back and rewatch it! ❇
All in all, this book was one of the most enjoyable books I have read this past year. It simply had everything, action, romance, sadness and it possesed the ability to make you feel which really swept me off my feet.

"Cinder" is a very well written and easy-to-read book. By the term "easy to read" I mean that it has a pretty good flow of events, you do not get bored even a minute and the characters are so fun and real, that you can help but read one more chapter! ❇
I will admit that at a certain point, the book becomes a little predictable since I was able to guess the plot twist at the end, but that didn't faze me at all! Normally, if I find a book predictable I would feel bumped, but that was not the case with "Cinder". What not, I am actually excited for the next installments in the series, because I can't wait for Cinder's next adventures! ❇
My favourite would definitely have to be Cinder, not because she is the main character, but because she is such a clever and quirky girl! She has very sarcastic responses at times, but deep down she is so sensitive and good! What I like most about her, is that she is written in a way that doesn't alienate her, she seems to be the girl you would hang out with at school. ❇
The novel of course, doesn't lack a love story that's so sweet, but it is still not that developed! I'm hoping that in the next books Cinder and Kai will finally be together, even though it seems quite unlikely. Those of you who have read "Cinder" know what I mean, but I still hold on to hope!

So, this was a book that I've been meaning to read for the longest time ever, but never actually got around buying it! I first put this book on my TBR pile when all this craze about dystopian books emerged and then I kind of forgot about it.✳
Now that I have actually read it, I can say that I enjoyed it a lot, because it had many elements that I like in a good dystopian book. The plot sometimes seemed predictable, but that is to be expected, even though I was pleasantly surprised at times when I couldn't see what's coming next! ✳
As far as the main characters go, I liked Cassia a lot, she was an interesting character to follow, but my favourite by far, has to be Ky! I think I mentioned it in an earlier post, but I found myself drawn to him, especially because we don't know a whole lot about his past! ✳
The idea of the perfect match being electronically appointed really spiked up my interest and I will definitely be ordering the other two books in the series, so that I can follow Cassia and Ky's romance till the end!

I really don't know where to start with this masterpiece of a book! I devoured it in 5 hours, because I simply couldn't put it down! Dicker has an amazing way of telling complex stories with many plot twists, all the while remaining sensitive and realistic. He had my emotions changing all the time and me just hopelessly turning the pages, trying to find out more about their story. Please, do yourself a favour and read "The Baltimore Boys", you'll thank me later.
