Thrill of the Hunt is part of The Exodus Series Standalones, which includes 7 books by 7 amazing authors. They all share the same world but tell their own individual stories. It’s such a cool concept because these stories overlap at various points both on and off the pages surrounding a specific night called "The Reckoning".
The Reckoning.
All crime is legal on the night of the Reckoning. Truly, anything goes. There are no rules and nothing is off-limits when The Exodus plays their games. The event that happens only once every ten years.
This novella follows Isabella, the daughter of an abusive drug lord, and Greyson, who has been stalking her. Greyson is the son of an Exodus Society member who was murdered by Isabella's father. But before Greyson can take his revenge, Isabella's father dies, and now Greyson's sights are set on her. This is a fast-paced, spicy novella that also gives a closer look into the inner workings of the Exodus. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Phantasm is part of The Exodus Series Standalones, which includes seven books by seven amazing authors. They all share the same world but tell their own individual stories. The Reckoning
On the night of the Reckoning, all crime is legal. Truly, anything goes. There are no rules, and nothing is off-limits when The Exodus plays their games. This event happens only once every ten years.
Now, with that being said, this standalone is an enemies-to-lovers, and it is delicious. I really didn’t want this book to end. This is the story of Darian Delacroix and Cecilia Van de Meer. Cecilia is part of a rebel group, all of whom have been affected by The Reckoning in one way or another, and they’re determined on taking down The Exodus. Darian, on the other hand, is an Exodus elder, struggling with his own demons. And of course, I have to give a honorable mention Nathaniel Sinclair, father of Elijah Sinclair (from Haunted by the Devil and Homecoming), who is Darian’s best friend and makes many appearances in this story.
I know I sound like a broken record, but please check your triggers. The things Darian goes through as a child—things that left him with so many demons—are heavy. Cecilia comes into his world like a freight train, fueled by hate and revenge for what happened to her father. And this wouldn’t be a Harleigh Beck book without a good plot twist.
This book has a great spice-to-plot ratio, fantastic characters, and a compelling storyline. I would definitely recommend diving into this series!

I devoured this book in one day, absolutely devoured it.

Above All Else is a story about revenge and second chances. Carter, the MMC, is determined to find out who killed his sister. Along the way, we learn he’s part of the Exodus Secret Society. Carter also suspects that June, the FMC, knows more than she’s letting on, and from there, chaos ensues. Now, here’s where things get even better, I say better because the story is already great. The action continues even after the chaos hits, which is so refreshing. If you’ve ever wondered, ‘What happens next?’ after all the drama, this is the book for you because it does just that. AND! There is a nice little plot twist in there too. 100 out of 10. I definitely recommend this book it is a good time. And yes there is spice.

If you are looking for a good erotic horror for spooky season I would put this in you top 5. It is short, sweet and hit all the right spots. It is based in a haunted house attraction, the type you have to sign a waiver to get in. But since this is a novella I will leave it at that. This was a awesome read definitely spicy and slasher movie scare.

The Reckoning.
All crime is legal on the night of the Reckoning. Truly, anything goes. There are no rules and nothing is off-limits when The Exodus plays their games. The event that happens only once every ten years.
There's nothing I love more than a badass FMC—give her a "pew pew" and make her one of the best snipers in the game, and I'm all in. Thrill of the Hunt delivers just that. As always, be sure to check the trigger warnings for this one. Zalak, the FMC, experiences severe PTSD from her time overseas. She joined the Army after being disowned by her parents, who wanted her to agree to an arranged marriage. She left everything behind, including her teenage love, Mathijs. Years later, battered and broken, Mathijs finds her and offers her a job as his bodyguard months beofre the Exodus Reckoning.
This book is wild and I loved it. I know these are all standalones but each book gives it's own separate insights on the Exodus and it has been fun putting all the puzzle pieces together. And the spice in spicing in this if you are wondering.
He speaks Dutch to her, and damn is it sexy.

If there’s one thing that hooks me every damn time, it’s a cliffhanger. And this one? It’s a killer. But don’t worry book 2, Entombed in Sin, is coming out on February 14, 2025, so the wait won’t be forever.
This is a pitch-black romance, and it’s dripping with taboo. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Check the trigger warnings before you dive in.
The story throws you straight into Beatrice’s (FMC) nightmare of a life. Her abusive stepfather and addict mother have turned her into their personal servant, forcing her to keep the family funeral home running while they drag her down. Lurking in the shadows are her twin stepbrothers, Sagan and Thatcher, along with their enigmatic, dangerous companion, Knox.
The twins are on a ruthless mission to destroy their father, while Beatrice? She’s just trying to make it through another day.
This is Easy a 4.25. It does move a little slow in the beginning but 30% in it starts to pick up and from there it does not stop. I am not going to spoil a thing but just know in this the stalkers are being stalked also. This book is depraved and hot! I really can not wait for the conclusion to this duet.

Slay Less is book two in the Final Girls interconnected world, and I’m giving it a solid 4.5 stars. I docked half a star only because I personally wished the ending had been more extravagant. Overall, though, this book was absolutely delicious.
If The Shining and the movie Halloween had a steamy, hours-long rendezvous, this book would be their lovechild. It’s fast-paced, steamy, and packed with little Easter eggs that hint at what the next book in the series might be about. (And no, I’m not telling you what they are!)
This is also a step-sibling taboo romance, so if that’s not your thing, this might not be the book for you. But if you’re here reading my reviews, chances are it is your thing and let me tell you, it’s hot!
I definitely recommend this one. Bonus: it’s set around Valentine’s Day, so it’s the perfect addition to your February TBR!

This is a rewrite of Cunning Lies with added content. I didn’t read the original, so I’m approaching this story with fresh eyes.
The book starts off strong, throwing you right into the action. We meet our MMC, Kenzo, a member of the Yakuza. And when I say you’re dropped in the thick of it—I mean it. Kenzo is interrogating someone, and the FMC, Vivian, is also being held in the room. What Vivian doesn’t know is that her uncle has just offered her in an arranged marriage.
Audrey includes a glossary at the front of the book for all the Japanese terms used. While it’s helpful, it’s not strictly necessary, as she does an excellent job of explaining the terms naturally within the story.
Kenzo is a force to be reckoned with—the degradation that comes out of this man's mouth is downright delicious. I do wish Vivian’s strength matched her snark a bit more, but overall, the book was excellent. I’m highly anticipating the other stories in this series and definitely recommend it!
