Now, this book was a wild ride. It’s a why choose, found family, rock star, second chance dark romance novella. It is a very quick read, and I would say it’s 70% smexy time and 30% plot. There’s just enough plot to make you wish this book was longer. It has dual timelines and multiple POVs. Definitely check the triggers with this one. This is a must-read.

This book has 35 triggers and I suggest reading them before diving in. Myers is a Horror Romance Novella meaning it is horror first and it is indeed. Myers is a Michael Myers-ish retelling. You have the concept but different players in the game and it was fantastic. I really do hope the author gives us more of Damien and Aurora.

If you love secret societies and dark academia, then this is a good book. I must warn you, it ends on a cliffhanger, so have Book 2, Ruthless Rejection, ready. This book pulled me right in—the character banter, the world-building by the author, and a little spice are fantastic. Ph. NIX’s writing style is very easy to read, with multiple POVs. I 100% recommend it.

The books drops you right into action. It is face paced , spicy, well written and leaves you wanting more from the characters. The FMC is definitely not to be messed with. This is a quick good read and I can not wait to get more from this series.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Book 2.5 , spoilers of you have not read 1 & 2. This is a very necessary novella before you reach book 4. It tells the perspectives of just the guys after the event that happened with Owen. This prepares you for the final book And I am here for it.

For the final book in the Edgewood Academy Elites series, it did not disappoint. Everything is wrapped up nicely, with all the nagging questions answered. This story was a crazy ride, with moments where I questioned how it was going to wrap up, but it did—with a little twist. I would 100% recommend this series to anyone looking for a good dark academia, reverse harem, enemies-to-lovers series

Book 1 Review: I loved this series. it is soooo toxic and soo over the top with triggers and I am here for all of it. This man had me from the start and should not have. This book is dark also with a good storyline and was a easy read. And if HD Carlton decided to add a couple more books I will be the first person or really close to the first person to grab that book.

This book ... the triggers are real. But I love how everything unfolds. Did I want the story to end? No.

This book does touch on grief, addiction and other subject matter so please check triggers. It is a novella so I will try not to say anything that is a spoiler. Bur I will say it is fast paced spicy and has found family all in one. I would definitely recommend.

With Harleigh Beck, there is one thing you can count on, and that is a twist out of left field. This book was a short and sweet read. Since it is a novella, it dives in headfirst. Without giving spoilers, I can say that a group of friends spends a weekend at a cabin in the woods.

I would honestly rate this 4.25 stars, but since the app doesn’t allow that, I’ll give it 5. The book is well-written, with a story that keeps you intrigued and engrossed. If you have arachnophobia, please consider that before reading. This is a dual POV done in a unique way: the first half is from Olivia's (FMC) POV, and the second is from Malachi's (MMC) POV. When it shifts to Malachi's perspective, the author does an excellent job diving into his psyche, making it intense and compelling. Often, books focus solely on the FMC’s struggle with taboo aspects, but here, we also see the MMC grappling with everything. This book is so well-written. It ends abruptly, but not on a cliffhanger, and Book 2 is out on 9/29/2024.
