i liked the premise of this book and the way the world works, and i see a lot of potential in the slowburns! but the only characters i really like were the fmcs and orion, i know the heirs probably get so much better but they are genuinely assholes and its so hard to read knowing they get together eventually?? 😭 it is addictive but i HATE the mmcs so much

i think her writing simmered down a bit but i got really attached to haymitch, maysilee and lenore dove! haymitch is my favorite character in the whole franchise too omg 🥹 the epilogue was my favorite part and HURT ME. haydove also devastated me.
