This series is my comfort series, it's the one I come back to an reread every few months. I wish more people would give this series a shot. 

I accidentally read this book not knowing it's a continuation of another series. I was slightly confused by all the characters that were being mentioned as if I should know them. However I still managed to enjoy the book having not read the earlier series and after this I am going to go an read Echo in Time.

My best friend is a huge mystery fan, I am usually not. She recommended this book and kept saying i must read it. I dithered but eventually picked it up, I loved the writing style and beautiful descriptions, but probably would have put it down had my friend not been so emphatic in her praise for this book. So I kept going, and am so glad that I did. This is a book that is going to stick in my brain. That if anyone asks for a book recommendation, I will first ask if they have read this.
