This new arc is boring and a bit ridiculous. I wish this continued more with the school year and the training and the development of all their cooking. But it is just making them out to be too good and it has lost me. I was wanting more learning and school training working their way to the top. Not another person coming in and throwing out the principal and a cooking war to stay in school, just because the principal is evil and expelling all the students.
I just want something different. What the story started off to be and what got left behind.

Haruka Sakura transfers school to the badest and most violent school, Furin. With the "lowest average scores and the strongest fighters" Sakura wants to be the top fighter in the school. But it turns out that instead of the school being complete delinquents and fighting themselves in the school, the school pledged 2 years ago to protect the town with their fighting power to make it a safer place for the town folk. Cute.
We follow Sakura navigating his way in this new town, where everything is not what he expected. The people are nice and grateful, and they fight to protect and not for clout.
This is my first brawl-style manga. I have heard and seen snippets like this in Anime and online but never read a dedicated manga like this. It is a heap of fun and has a cool concept. The characters bursting with personality. What is not to like.

It was interesting to read. The style and setting were really cool and classy.
What I didn't quite like was how the relationships developed. I found it a little odd and the decision by some of the characters questionable. But I guess that might have been the time period.
I think I might need to read a bit more books from this time to understand a bit more. I didn't really connect with the characters and found their lives grand and boring in the mists of all the flashy
May read again in the future. To see if my opinion changes.

This is a solid start to a cute shojo series. I always love seeing how manga is made in made it makes me appreciate the hard work that goes into one of my favourite reading formats.
The story follows Ichiro and Shiori. Ichiro is a manga artist working hard to meet deadlines to support his younger siblings after their parents pass away. During a busy time, we meet Shiori a manga assistant who is hired to work with him to meet a deadline, in sleep-deprived confusion, Ichiro discovered that Shiori is something more than he first thought.
The family dynamic is super cute I love how they support and look out for each other. I see good chemistry between the main characters. A great start to this series.
