love dystopian novels, especially ya ones. this packed a big punch in a very short book. the author did an amazing job giving her protagonist a very real voice and a lot of heart.
I can see why it won the Pulizter - for both good and bad reasons. Bad b/c it was very cerebral/philosophical and could get a bit long-winded and confusing. It also jumps around in time a lot. But I thought it was very compelling reading, always surprising me and the characters were unique and interesting. You really want to know what crazy things are going to happen to them next.
