Is it bad that I found a book about murdering six people to be so hilarious?

I feel like Grace was the millennium-cool-girl-anti-hero we need right now, and hearing her commentary on modern life was a highlight on the book for me (and yes, I felt very called out at times). I know some reviewers thought she was mean but I feel that was kind of the point - you're not supposed to feel total affection for a serial killer and it shouldn't be a surprise that she can be a total bitch at times!

Finally the ending, I know some people were disappointed but I thought it was great - it rounded the book off in the perfect way for me.

I was going to give this book a whole extra star, but the final chapter was just ridiculous and made me cut one 🙄

I kid you not, I read this within about 48 hours and I loved every minute of it. I probably could have read it in about 10 hours straight if I wasn’t having to work/sleep/eat too.

I really want to come back to this book! But probably a time when my head does not get so easily scrambled by the plot.

An excellent book for young and reluctant readers — also the perfect read for teachers/librarians who want to set their children the extra task of writing the “eighth” ghost story.

Beautiful! Amazing! Stunning! This book was so quick and easy to read (not something I expected from something written all in verse) and yet still dived in deep on some very personal and emotional topics.
