This book was a unique take on a contemporary urban fantasy. I didn’t really know what to expect when I picked it up but I was immediately immersed into this complex modern day magic system that combines occult sciences, alchemy, and deceit. 

I loved the way that Dakota and Callum interacted and developed through the book. There was mystery and deception from all parties! I’m excited to see where this series goes, especially after the various information was shared about the various God’s bloods. 

If you’re looking for an interesting, dark, and mysterious urban fantasy with a biker gangs who have hidden secrets of their own, you should check this book out. 

Just wow! I was completely blown away with this book. The strong, defiant nature of Medra with the brutal, possessive, and hidden kindheartedness of Blake made for the perfect pairing in this book. 

The villains of the book and the complexity of the plot made me desperate to continue reading despite my adult responsibilities. 

There is a slow burn with a payoff that left me wanting more from the characters. 

Overall, there was joy, sadness, and frustration for the characters throughout the book.
