This book was phenomenal! A dark, spicy Cinderella retelling with a hot prince, evil king, faeries, and witty banter that I absolutely live for in books.
This novel kept me on my toes and constantly wondering what twists were going to come next. The ending absolutely gutted me and I cried during the climax of the book.
Lots of explicit spicy scenes and Finn giving Elora the nickname of “Little doe” 🥵
Definitely recommend if you like a twist on an iconic fairy tale.

The books in this series just keep getting better. I am absolutely obsessed with the entire plot, the characters, the banter… Lionel is the ultimate bad guy and an absolute terror and the heirs 🥵🥵
I can’t stop thinking about the characters and the ending had me staring at the wall for 20 mins before realizing I needed to carry on with my day.

A dual narrator book made this one perfect! I was yelling in my car while driving and I fell so much more in love with the characters even more. The second book of the series didn’t disappoint!!
The girls getting back at the bullies and the pulling on the heartstrings throughout the book made me desperate to start book 3 immediately!
This one gave me more adult Harry Potter vibes and the introduction to the fae sport Pitball was perfect 🤩

I kept seeing this book on my Instagram and I finally decided to get into the series. I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the main female characters, the complex world, and the intricate nature of Zodiac Academy. I will definitely be reading the next book.
Though pretty light on spicy content, it would almost be suitable for upper YA.

Struggled to connect to the characters. Will likely try to read it again at another date.

The first novel in the Remnants of the Fallen series, leads readers on an epic, slow burn journey with marriage of convenience, magic, hidden identities, personal secrets, fates mates and so much more.
Leitao introduces the reader to a realm where what Astra knows isn’t necessarily the whole truth of her existence and Marlak isn’t just what he is painted out to be.
Overall a fast read that made me question so many things as the plot intensifies. Though some questions are answered as the story progresses, many things are left unanswered, which makes me desperate to pick up the next book. The banter between Astra and Marlak is fabulous though their general communication could use some work since they both hide major secrets from each other the entire book.
The conclusion of this novel left me reeling with curiosity and concern for the main characters as their future is left very uncertain in the final pages. Tension, slow burn, and frustrating encounters makes this book move quickly because the reader always wants to know what will happen next.
