2,5/5. I take some from it but I mostly let it all down... some good interesting stuff, but a lot of things that for me seem like psycho-pop wishful thinking stuff! I was curious, glad I look it up, but nothing much for me!

Vocabulary book. Picture of item or situation with a bunch of word to name think and activity. Could have been more original or more creative in the art or the way it presented those words. Too simple to make stand out!

3,5/5. Un thriller efficace. On tourne les pages, on veut connaître la fin, mais qui malgré cela demeure un peu simple. L'ensemble des éléments manquent de profondeur (intrigue, personnages, atmosphère, écriture, etc.) et on se contente de rester en surface. J'aime ces livres qui se passent dans des petittes villes où tous et chacun on de secrets, leur part d'ombre, et celui-ci le fait bien, mais certains auteurs le font mieux. J'ai aimé la petite mention que tous, par nos actions ou inactions, sommes au final en partie responsable de certains drames, au-delà du criminel, plusieurs «innocents» ont contriubé à mettre en place les circonstances permettant au drame de ce produire, constat sans doute sombre, mais qui me semble assez juste. Lecture d'été, simple et efficace, que j'ai dévoré en une journée.

Very simple and basics ABC books. It achieved it purpose but there also a lot of book who also does it but with a better touch in the organization, presentation, editing or just fun add-on. This one does the basis but just stay there!

Magnifiquement illustré ce livre présente l'histoire du Petit Prince, adaptée pour un jeune public, mais tout en conservant l'essentiel du message et de l'histoire. Très bien fait à tous les niveaux. Je recommande!

Very repetitive sentence structure in this book, too repetitive in my opinion. Sure this kind of book is good for young children to help them learn how to read, but in this one there is only one word each page that change, The others are repeat all the way over the entire book...

Des descriptions de paysages splendides et quelques faits réels (anecdotes, mystères et informations scientifiques) font que ce livre va au-delà du genre, ce que j'iame bien. Par contre, la maitrise du gene lui-même me laisse quelques réserves, la fin est un peu facile et précipitée, l'intrigue fonctionne assez bien dans l'ensemble du livre, les personnages sont bien malgré quelques clichés et l'écriture est efficace, tout comme le rythme. Un quatre étoiles à la limite du trois et demi, c'est vraiment la fin qui m'a laisser sur mon appétit... Sans être extraordinaire ce fut une lecture agréable, parfaite pour l'été, qui m'a sans doute donné le goût de boire plus de Scotch que nécessaire... et je relierai certainement Peter May pour voir ce qu'il a d'autre à m'offrir.

Some kind of search and find that also presented parts of the world with some facts and information. That part was okay, but the search and find was very ordinary. Also in the ebook version that I got, the illustrations of the search and find was very blurry like it was compress to fit in the page and that didn't help obviously. It have way better similar book on the market!

Dragon, magic, evil, this comic book looked very intriguing and appealing to me. The story sure try to be epic, and achieve I that some point, but was definitely very teeny and that is where I was let down. I think, and it’s not an impression I often get reading comic, that this would have done a better video game, because some of it, the best part, remind me a little of some Final Fantasy games. Anyway, the story was fast pace which I like in comic, but it the lack of substance, it wasn’t deep enough, like I say too teeny in its theme, character, overall plotline, stereotypes, etc. I really think that children from 10-14 years old maybe could have a good time reading it, but as an adult, it just wasn’t solid enough to pass the test.

A nice «adventure» all colorfully illustrated, but unfortunately not much of a story, or learning, or moral ending, just a fun adventure. A bit too empty for my taste!
