This was a fun one. Good morale, funny, the writing make it fun to read out loud. Nothing mind blowing or reinvented here but a truly simple and well executed book for children. Well done!

I don't know what to say about this one. Th art is horrible in my opinion, where a lot of people seem to find it stunning... Maybe it's just me, but honestly it wasn't good. And the book itself just present animal alone and in group. Not worth it in my opinion! Maybe I miss something...

Just perfectly awesome!

A fantastic novel! Dean Koontz will always have a special place in my reader heart (little slice of life here if you're not interest then skip to the next paragraph for the review). I was a huge reader has a kid, but having a trouble teenagers life and after that going to the university (with all the mandatory read) I wasn't a big readers during those years, which feel like wasted times now... Then I start teaching, part time, with a lot of free time but not much money as a young adult. I remember reading almost exclusively Stephen King at the time, but one day my girlfriend wanted to buy me a specific King novel but it wasn't available at the bookstore, so the employee propose her a Dean Koontz novel (Life Expectancy) and said I should enjoy it if I like King. I remember liking it a lot and then it kind of open the door the discover new author and explore and become the books nerds I'm today! Thanks Dean!

That's why I have a soft spot for Koontz, but this one is by far the best book i read from him! He is an author that haven't enough credit, by the younger generation even less, if you love Stephen King and don't know about Dean Koontz, give him a chance, and start with this one! This book is great, first it was written in 1988 and it had age very well. There is a great intrigue, a master level of time traveling work/plot, amazing characters, good action, a touch of love, family stuff, stunning rhythm, strong ending and it just mixed a bunch of genre together so well. Honestly I can't find something bad about this book. I enjoy every word of it, every second reading it and I'm even a bit sad that I'm done with it. I recommend it to anyone and I'm sure a lot of people around me (well not much at the moment since we're in confinement) will get crazy from hearing me talk about it. Just read it!

I'm more of a Halloween should be creepy and scary kind of guy, but I have to admit that this fun and cute Halloween story for very young children had me smile a little. Just a very light and cute Halloween book that might help introduce this day to young one in a fun and not scary at all way. Worth it!

Wow! This one was great. Didn't expect more because the cover isn't that good (yeah I judge, or more anticipate, book by their cover) but it was really nice. The art is way better then the cover let's us think (yes again the cover...) and the story of a shy ghost is just beautiful, funny and great in many ways. Big surprise, great book, read it!

Lot of action, stunning art, good story and cast and also a bit of zen. Really good issues and series so far!

Great! Again!

Another good book in the Cirque du Freak series, and what a good writing of the Irish accent!! Very action pack, closer to an epic fantasy quest, that was different but interesting. It allows the bond between two characters to evolve a lot and I like it. Only two books left and I'm really curious to see how the author wrap it all up. Definitely a series worth reading and a series not talked about enough in my opinion. This book as darker moment an I think this is perfect for the targeted audience. Something I would have lot so much as a kid, and which I still enjoy quite a lot as an adult!

Well this one is an ABC book but with ecofriendly word... Obviously when you «read» an ABC book you're a bit too young to get into big compression of thing like ecological debate and stuff like that. And doing it, the word use to present the letters are too complicated in pronunciation and comprehension for kids that age. I respect the value it want to past but honestly not the right media to do so.
