This is way better then what I was expecting. It started a bit slow but finishing this volume, we have a solid story on. While I was reading it I kept telling myself this is what Stephen King would have written if he was a manga artist. The two time period between adult and childhood reminded me a lot of some of King works, It for example. This manga have good humor, I often have trouble with humor in manga, find it too young, too light or just not my style, but this one has some great moment. The characters are great, the art is good, nothing really unique here but very good, and a solid story that goes on the weird side a bit. Very good I'll pass my order for the next one right away!

It started really good and almost kind of intriguing/mysterious, until it felt into a casual contemporary story with nothing really new or original!

Wow!

Beautiful art. Good story as well. Still felt a bit like a filler, a lot of those in this series do. But I enjoy this one. The final conclusion seem to be near. It's about time but I'm hoping for a good one because even with some lows, this run by King definitely had a lot of great moments!!

Just amazing!! This is the last of the House of X, the last of Powers of X (an of the entire series going to be next week). This one was beautiful, full of lights and hopes but I just feel scare (in a good way) for the next one. For me, this can't end that good. Something is going to happen and it will be bad, I think, maybe I'm just an old pessimist... Both way, I really enjoy my time reading it!!

I didn't like this book. Not my style of adventure or humor. I would have stop there and just said it wasn't for me. But then I saw it has 12 ratings on Goodreads and all five stars... funny... Then I decided to read some and was surprise by a 9 years old (he said so in his review) who had a strong writing for a kid his age. Then I had a look into the profile of those «reviewers». Surprise surprise, they're all blank with only one review (this book) and no friends. Real reader!! of course... I just wanted to take so time to denounce that. It is stupid of the author doing so and it just destroy everything those community of «reviewers» try to be, a bunch of honest review about a book, or any products, to help readers/consumers do a good choice. So just to go against that stupid marketing project I encourage you to mark this book as read with one star rating even if you never get to have a look at it, just to balance the universe a bit!

4,5/5. Factual, informative, straight to the point, the exact thing I was looking for a while, concerning octopus. Not just about octopus but mostly. There is a strong scientific aspect to it, a bit of philosophical thinking about consciousness and what we think, but can't really prove 100% sure in a scientific way and an overall very well done read if you're interest in octopus, origin of consciousness, evolution and stuff like that. I like it a lot!

Wow! This series has me waiting for Wednesdays like I never for them before! This one was fantastic, more evolution and comprehension behind it then in the previous one. This series is awesome but will probably deserve a well earned reread at the end to understand it and putting it all together. I'll buy the hardcover edition for sure! Must read series!

4,5/5. That was good! A mixed of genre between science-fiction and a mystery/thriller. For me the science-fiction part was the best one, the most intriguing elements and all, but I was surprised by how the mystery unveils at the end and how good the conclusion of it was. There are a few good twists in this book and it definitely a unique concept in itself. Don’t want to spoil anything but one of the twists definitely brings an interesting concept and thinking. But, even if I really enjoy reading this one it wasn’t perfect. The pacing was problematic for the first 2/3 of the book, alternating between good pace and too slow pace. The characters (again I will stay a big vague on purpose) are not really well develop and it was hard to really care for them or like them, exception made of the main one but again do to the way the story is told, we are again kept at distance a bit. And finally, I would have like to continue for a bit, to see the after of it, and was hoping for some answer to question finally left unanswered, it was done in a good open ending way so that’s okay, but I would have like to know a bit more. Definitely worth reading in my opinion and an author I will read the next book for sure!
