Not sure about this one. It just literally just left my mind after closing it, which isn't a very good sign. Maybe not bad, but clearly forgettable read...

2,5/5. The Road meet The Walking Dead in a YA book... Read The Road instead! This book isn't bad at all. It has okay action, respect the post-apocalyptic style and does alright mostly. The problem is that it has a lot of stereotypes both in characters and story/universe, a lot of characters have weird reaction, decision or behavior not proper for their age or circumstance. The red riding hood parallel is a bit thin. And, finally, and that is ma main concern, it just did nothing new, everything in this book have been done elsewhere, many times, and often better, so even if not bad, this book is far from a necessary or intriguing read.

Weird premise for sure but a very good story about love, friendship and way to deal with grief. I really enjoy this comic book, that for some reason speak directly to my soul!

A story about war and resistance. The story in itself isn't bad but for me the difference between the story and the artworks was just so strange that it completely break the atmosphere. The story is about war, but the illustrations are neat, clean, petty, childish, etc. I get that this comic is mostly for kids but even that a story about war should have a darker shade, dirtier, etc. And in this book, that completely failed, almost like the writer and the illustrator never spoke together.

I truly love the message of this book, about taking time to enjoy the moment, no need to be materialist and have a lot of stuff to be happy, this kind of message is very important in our modern society where children receive, at a very young age, the message that buying is the only thing that count. That being said, as much as I love the message, the book itself is not that good, the illustrations are horrible and the story is not very interesting. The message need a better format/story/editing work to reach a large audience!

3,5/5. Similar to the Gemini one. I bought it to see the difference from one another in this collection. The first part is more or less the same and then we get a bit more specific one the Cancer sign and then the activities/ways of relaxing are more focus on this particular sign. Take some and leaves some but overall useful.

Magnifique!!

Every pieces fit perfectly into each others in this final volume. Perfect ending for this great familial trilogy. Lemire brings another big series with Royal City!

Over promoting coding and how fun I can be in a story for kids. Not bad but I don't see the point to it.
