Promising work, with something that look dark and when you started to read it, it was all colorful and bright... the illustrations didn't reflect the story at all and that was a big failed. The story itself isn't bad but nothing original to make it worth the time. Nope!

2,5/5. I like those mini biography for kids about know and less know person. Unfortunately this one felt empty, like there isn't enough info, almost like it was done on a rush. The ARC version I get didn't even included the cover... One of the rare time this collection let me down!

The format of the book make you think it was intent for young children, but the «hard» subject and the quantity of text make you think otherwise. I like what the book is trying to do, but the unbalanced work made me lose a lot of interest in it unfortunately...

Perfect step by step drawing guide with Toy Story characters. If your child like those and like to draw, this one is a must!! Very well done!

J'avoue avoir été un peu déçu par la première moitié de ce livre, non pas qu'il est mauvais, mais étant le premier roman de la série, après deux recueils de nouvelles, je m'attendais à une trame narrative plus «claire», alors que celle-ci demeure encore entrecoupée. On change de personnages, de lieux, la chronologie varie également un peu, on passe un bon passage à suivre l'histoire à travers des lettres, etc. C'est bien et très originale, mais cela brise un peu le rythme et l'action. Dans la dernière moitié, j'ai vraiment trouvé que les choses prennaient leur place, l'intrigue générale se développait, les personnages devenaient plus attachants (j'ai adoré la dernière partie avec Ciri et Yenneffer) et j'ai vraiment hâte de lire la suite.

Strange but wonderful story. Not really sure I get the point and what the author is trying to say, but it was a good ride that I enjoy in this strange fantastical world/story. I also really like the art. Original!

2,5/5. A bit too childish for me. I did enjoy the art and the fantastical universe with all those monsters and monsters hunters kids, but the story felt a bit blank and the characters as well, maybe younger reader wouldn't mind that, but I did.

First half what a bit of a deception for me, liking this series so much, I find that it had a lot of talking/planning/explaining and nothing was really happening. This change in the second half. Lot of action, we find those good old characters that we love and the ending!! Even if it start to slow for me, it was definitely a good read in an awesome series!

Awesome! I fear it would fall into cheap zombie story, but so far it hold on and not afraid to make some great name fall down the road!

Toujours aussi bon et divertissant. J'ignore la longeur que prendra cette série, cela ne me semble pas pouvoir des dizaines de tomes... mais jusqu'à maintenant l'intrigue se complexie, l'humour passe bien et j'ai hâte de voir comment le personnage s'en sortira!
