Great book about the beautiful art of Origami. It begin with the basic and slowly present harder figure to make. Well explain, simple but well done! I have almost no dexterity at all so I'm very bad at it, but I enjoy the book anyway! Great for everyone who want to try!

Another mini-series, Marvel sure does a lot of them recently, that combine Wolverines, Hulk and Weapon H. Better then expected, full of action, good enough story so far. I'm in!

Well I do have a lot to says for such a short book! First, this book is like a condense Ya trilogy in 260 pages, so everything goes fast, feel even kind of rush in some parts, but at the same time there isn't much happening and some elements take too much place. So yeah it goes fast but I can't say the rhythm or the pace is really good. The characters didn't felt into the old YA clichés, there a bit blank but not bad and the romance is cheesy without being stupid, and it evolve through times, not just insta-love. The overall plot is intriguing but poorly executed, everything just seem to easy, she just change her hole world over a week... and the writing is average for this type of book. Finally, the two most disappointing elements for me were both from the world building. First, we don't feel the Asian vibes in it. Except from the characters names there is nothing that made this book exotic in anyway. Second, the fact that this book is suppose to be about a population who doesn't hear is very badly presented. The fact that they don,t hear doesn't change a thing mostly, the communicate mostly by signs, and they sure love to speak/sign for people who doesn't hear... They also always use the word talk, speak, scream, and others in their «signing» and their thoughts, when in my opinion, a population who doesn't hear, and so doesn't speak, shouldn't even have or use word that represented that and the author shouldn't have put any of those words in the books to make us feel that much stronger.

For me this book was better then most YA, but at the same time I think that the average YA readers wouldn't like it because it lack what those readers seem to love and at the same time it isn't well build enough to attract more «adult fantasy» readers (I don't say any of that for judging or classify people, just trying to generalize a bit to make my point clear). So it felt into a empty spot where it will please to a small group of people and that what explain the low rating... I think!

It wasn't bad. I wasn't great either. An okay read but I can't see to whom I would recommend this book...

Awesome!! I would have love this book so much as a kid!! This is an encyclopedia about every species of dragons. I include marvelous artwork lot of facts about where to find those dragons, how they hatch, weight, height, and more. It does what it says so and done it perfectly!

Good one! Lot of action, emotion, plot evolution and twist that I didn't see coming! Really good!

Lu en Français.
J’adore Thomas H. Cook!

Absolutely nothing in this volume! This series have been going nowhere for a long time. After a while off I give the two last volume a shot to see what happen... I was disappointed. Going to take another time out, there isn't any other out yet anyway, but a big deception for me!

An original children book that shows us a weird and complete idiot doctor in a one day in his office life. Funny, absurd humor and easy one, but one that I think would please kids. I laugh a bit myself which is probably a good sign. Simple enough and nothing mesmerizing about it, but entertaining and worth it.

2,5/5. I don’t get the hype this book gets right now. This is a mediocre thriller at best. The writing is very casual, without being bad there is nothing good or beautiful about it. The characters are blank, the plot is going mostly nowhere and all that could have made it reach a higher level wasn’t well exploited. The sisters duo, the Nigeria setting, the inside view with the killer, all of it is not much present and poorly executed. For me this was a poor thriller that try to be original but for a reason or another failed while doing it.

Great children book. We have a marvelous settings, I love those small fisher village full of mist and hope to be able to live there one day, at least of couple of months a year. Anyway… the setting was pretty and the illustrations do it justice. I also like the way it help build vocabulary and discover/present beach to children, so that could be a good way to prepare for a trip to the beach or even a way to bring back good memories. Well done! Love it!
