3,5/5. Action packed novella that won’t slow down for the entire reading. That would be the kind of read I would like to share with my father, he would have love it, if he was a reader. For myself alone, this was an entertaining read. The action is always well described and the plot is captivating without being truly original. There are two things I didn’t like. First, the writing seems nearly adapted for a movie or a tv show, no surprise they did a movie with (going to watch it soon enough...), the writing is graphic, short sentences, very descriptive, not much psychology in there, not a script either but not fully literacy. Second, the ending is way to open, at this point it isn’t an open ending, it just isn’t an ending. The story look unfinished, maybe it would have a sequel, but nothing about that from what I’ve seen so far. And this unfisnished feeling stay with you after closing the book, not that you regret to have read it, but certainly disappointed it didn’t have a proper ending. I like reading it and though it was good (the pace was awesome), but at the same time it have some flaws and could have been better.
2,5/5. Can't say I really enjoy this one. Even if the story was kind of original and I like the weird crazy imaginative inventor old man, I just find the story a bit slow. It's the kind of book that my mind has trouble to fit in the targeted reader. Because the look and the storyline look very childish, almost picture book age, but at the same them the length and the amount of text make it closer to, well not middle-grade, but older then picture book... Anyway the pace is also very slow and I think that a lot of children would have trouble keeping up with it. The illustrations are beautiful, classic, but colorful and I really like the way the space organization from one page to another vary, it make it look more dynamic. Was expecting more!
3,5/5. Good enough poetry book. I did find the poem to be a bit repetitive, the same themes sure are all over the place. The writing style is sure kind of light/easy poetry as far as I'm concern, which isn't necessarily a bad thing and the style of poetry also feel kind of young. I didn't check it up (lazy me), but the author s probably young enough and even if it,s a bit dark, I think it would please young reader, teenagers, more then it did to me. A good way to introduces teenagers to poetry, a prose that is light but good and a poetry book that is above the average of that type of book! Better then expected!
3,5/5. This book is far to be in my favorite or usually genre. But if you want me to read any book, just put book, bookshop, bookcase, library or anything bookish word and I would jump into it blindly! I'm glad I did with this one. The writing is good, simple, not over written, but good and masterize writing. The story has some religion in it, some historical parts and some romance, so if that kind of read usually please you I definitely recommend you to have a look. Personally, I would have taken more bookish part and a bit less historical/religion, not that it wasn't good, just didn't pick this book for it. The romance is well done, not cheesy and it looks real, which is soooo rare! My deepest problem, and it isn't even that big, was that the characters are a bit flat, not blank, but flat, they sure have history and background, but the psychological and emotional elements could have been put more in the front scene. Way over my expectation! Well done!
For personal reason my appreciation is more of a 3 stars, but I can't honestly give it less then 3,5 and I even put it 4 on the ratings. Honestly if this is your genre/type of book, you should check it out!

Watch Me Read and Draw: Dinosaurs: A Step-By-Step Drawing & Story Book - Includes Flip-Out Drawing Pad and More Than 30 Stickers
Mattia Cerato, Samantha Chagollan
A little story, stickers and drawing tips. This book has everything to be good but unfortunately fail. First of all the story is very light, not necessarily a problem by itself, but not strength either. Second, the stickers, well, every page has a place where you have to put the proper sticker on the right drawing... Nothing much... And finally, the drawing tips and steps by step method are interesting but I’m not totally sure that the drawing element fit the age for being interest and targeted by the story. I think that to be able to draw what it presented, you should be a bit older then what the story has to propose. Finally, it’s way too much repetitive. Every page has a bit of the story, a sticker to place and drawing tips, and so on.

Two books in one, kind of flipable book, where you can flip it in reverse and start by the end/other side. This book present both summer and falls (another book does winter and spring). Each season is presented through various activities and things to do. All of it is well illustrated in an original and colorful way. It’s the perfect example of a simple book, but perfectly executed! Good job!

2,5/5. The story in this book has some funny elements that as an adult I was able to put in relativity and appreciate. But for young reader, children, I consider the message to be a bit confusing and can really be interpret in a wrong way, saying that the act of stealing isn’t bad...Because of that weird message/morale I have to drop its rating by a lot, and that is sad because the author know how to write good and funny story and the illustrated did a good job has well, but you got to be careful what message goes through your book, especially with children book!!
