I’m not the biggest fans of informative books with illustrations. If you wanted to present weird animal, why not give it a real documentary book with good quality pictures of these animals. The text in itself is good, clear and easy to read for young reader with good information on original/weird animal that we don’t see that often or hear about. Not a bad book at all, I just don’t agree with the artistic vision of it, the mixed of style.

Good circus ambiance and style in this book, but I had higher expectation for it. I was always wanting for something more, some greater or bigger to happen in the story, something more epic and in the end it just never came. Maybe if I haven’t waiting for that all along I would have loved it even more. It’s still a very good, by it ambiance like I said but also by the imaginary world and the imagination behind it. The characters are also good and likeable but maybe not unforgettable. I would have like more fantasy epic magic in it and it would have been an awesome book.

Cute story and illustrations. A book that a fun story but that also opens a dialogue about the difference between what you want to do and what is the good thing to do. Thinking about the well being of others. Good one

Accessible, easy to understand facts/informations about our planet. Nothing that really et this book out of the lot but an average read on the subject. Good!

3,5/5. Cute story with colorful illustrations. A book about friendship, in a funny alien way, and how it’s way more fun for a kid to play outside with friend. Good but simple (and maybe a bit long for the targeted plubic)!

Did Marilyn Monroe really play such a role in Ella Fitzgerald career... no expert but I'm not so sure about that. Anyway a very brief biography on a great signer for sure but why make a picture book so simple in a bio style. Does kids of 3-4 years old really care who Ella Fitzgerald was? I doubt that for most of them. And it has too little info to make it relevant. Not so relevant!

Funny entertaining illustrated book on cat lady. Short sentences or facts illustrated (in a style i didn’t like much, only because of personal art preferences) representing cat lady personality, characters, attitude, etc. The same book with bookish lady (or guy) would have been even better because I would have relied to it a lot more. Still a good book that cat lovers, or people who knows one (so mostly everybody) will enjoy and laugh while reading. Well done!

Like the crazy cat lady book, shorts sentences with illustrated representations, but with plant crazy lady. Not as good as the first one though. The crazy plant lady is a lot less funny probably because the crazy plant lady is a lesser stereotype. I never knew a crazy plant lady or hear of one. If you know one then maybe you’ll find it funny but I didn’t.

A bit too light headed for my personal taste. Not a bad book, but a arrogant cat and a dog that try to get its attention, might be consider cute or funny, but not by my standard, clearly not a book for me!

Strange book. Very unique and extremely original on the artwork, but at the same very casual and unoriginal on the story which isn't very interesting, too slow and just not enough of basically everything to catch my attention. I give two because of the art, but the story don't deserve more then one stars.
