Childish illustrations, a message that you need that you need to search for so deep, that you're not even sure if it's there or if you just invented it and a story that is absent. Not worth it!

Cute book with original arts that tell the story of a dog passing on and the life of the little boy (the owner of the dog). The death theme is very well put into place, in a smooth way, and it ca be really useful to talk with young children about death, of a pets, or even of a human. A good story that can be useful. Well done!

Cute story about a zombie ballerina and her strange family. Nothing much to it, but a funny well illustrated books that I enjoy reading!

2,5/5. Courte histoire qui a certainement dû faire réagir fort en 1941 lors de sa parution, en raison de son contenu très sexuel. Peut rappeler légèrement Sade, bien que la sexualité ici est beaucoup moins trouble, mais toujours décrite de manière assez cru. Ceci étant dit, ce n'est pas un texte mémorable d'aucune façon. L'histoire de l'oeil était bien plus étrange, troublant et marquant.

A story about love and Japanese garden (which are always beautiful). Not much to the story though. Original subject but I was left on my appetite a bit in this one.

Kind of disappointing book. Yes it present some interesting villains from Star Wars and sketch by sketch, one step at a time, way to make them, but it's about it, and it's stuff you can easily find on the Internet for free, so why pay for a book with that... not so sure! The drawing are also advance level, important to note it, and kids or even adult, won't be event to draw them unless having a good proper background in drawing. Not bad, but not really a necessity!

Simple but perfect little and calm story about going to bed. So... perfect for bedtime, pretty illustration and a good time!

Beautiful writing and a very touching book! Yes it's a memoir about the author brother death, and so it can be seen has a very personal book, but I found the experience to be very well «generalize» so it isn't anymore about her personal grief, but about grief and passing on in general, something we'll all get through somehow one day or another. It isn't a happy read but not a depressive eon either, just a very well made reflexion on the matter. Big surprise and I highly recommend it!

Maybe too minimalistic for me. This three word books, even if it was beautifully illustrated, didn't grip me in anyway. Yes there's a message about sharing with others, but... again too minimalistic, not enough story. Not my style!

4,5/5. Great ode to the love of reading. Not much story, but it shows with a touch of humor, that you can (and probably should) read anywhere, because reading is great. Perfect for books lover who wants to share their love with young ones or future reader!
